Opus breaks ground on Tollway Corporate Center industrial development

The Opus Group has broken ground on the third and final building at Tollway Corporate Center, a 408,195-square-foot industrial development in Chicago’s Interstate 88 submarket. The project is a joint venture with Principal Asset Management.

The cross-docked facility features 36-foot clear heights, 55 dock doors (expandable to 90), four drive-in doors, 134 auto parking stalls (expandable to 196), 94 trailer parking stalls and clerestory windows for natural lighting.

Opus said the building is designed for tenants who need modern warehousing and/or distribution space. Tollway Corporate Center is located near numerous restaurants, hotels and a wide variety of corporate users.

Opus completed construction of the first two buildings at Tollway Corporate Center in December 2022. The buildings, which were also joint ventures with Principal Asset Management, are now fully leased to Soligent Distribution, Karat Packaging and Ryder Integrated Logistics. The new building i
