Kelly Gebert Jr. passed away Nov. 3. He had served as lead portfolio manager for private real estate at the Ohio Public Employees Retirement System since 2021.
Previously, he was a director at Triangle Capital, where he oversaw acquisitions and business development. Before joining Triangle, Gebert spent three years at The Townsend Group.
He was also a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Institutional Real Estate Americas.
A graduate of The King’s College in New York City, Gebert earned a degree in finance and business management and built his career in real estate private equity.
He married Jacci Feret in September 2015. He was the father of two daughters, Palmer, born in 2020, and Kit, born in 2024.
