Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan has acquired a portfolio of seven fully leased residential assets in Copenhagen and Aarhus, Denmark, from real estate investor Koncenton.
This acquisition forms part of a new joint venture with H Capital, its specialist Danish residential real estate operating partner, focused on well-located, high-quality, income-generating residential assets across Greater Copenhagen and select strong secondary cities. Ontario Teachers’ aims to build a scaled, institutional portfolio in Denmark in line with its strategy to create a resilient, diversified portfolio in core markets supported by strong fundamentals.
