Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund portfolio now valued at $15.7 billion

The portfolio value for the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund has increased to a value of $15.7 billion, according to a report presented at an April 23 investment committee board of trustees meeting.

The portfolio was valued at $15.5 billion at the end of February.

OP&F’s real estate consultant, The Townsend Group, shared the performance report for the fund’s real estate portfolio, which is valued at $1.78 billion, or 11 percent of the total OP&F portfolio, as of March 31.

The portfolio saw a 2.3 percent net return for the fourth quarter, which ended Dec. 31, and a 10 percent net return for the year.

In addition, consultant TorreyCove gave a report on the state of the private markets asset class, which has an asset allocation of 8.1 percent.
