Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund earns 19.6% return for 2021

The Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund (OP&F) has revealed that its portfolio return for calendar year 2021 was a net 19.63 percent.

The report also showed the five-year net return was 10.95 percent and the 10-year net return was 10.21 percent. The portfolio outperformed its policy index in all three periods, according to OP&F’s investment consultant, Wilshire Associates.

This is a big shift from August 2021, when the pension fund recorded a 6.91 percent net return for the second quarter of the year, with a year-to-date net return of 10.78 percent.

As of Feb. 22, the OP&F portfolio was valued at $18.67 billion.
