Office building in Rome sells for €200m

by Andrea Zander

DeA Capital Real Estate SGR, as manager of Omega Fund, has sold Arte 25, an office asset in the CBD of Rome, to a family of Allianz Group investors acting through the Italian branch of Allianz Real Estate.

The value of the transaction is approximately €200 million ($224 million).

Arte 25 is a multitenant office complex comprised of three separate buildings and a common outdoor area, located in the Esposizione Universale Roma — the most important financial and commercial district of Rome. Originally built in the 1960s, the complex has recently been completely renovated and represents one of only two LEED Platinum certified assets in Rome. Arranged over 12 floors, the property offers around 31,000 square meters (334,000 square feet) of gross leasable area, and is currently leased to leading companies.
