Oaktree sells Birchwood Park for £200m

by Andrea Waitrovich

Warrington Borough Council has acquired Birchwood Park for £200 million ($266 million) from Oaktree Capital Management.

Birchwood Park is a 123-acre business park, located within an Enterprise Zone at the junction of the M6 and M62 motorways.

It houses more than 150 businesses occupying more than 1.2 million square feet.

Warrington Borough Council says it will seek to maximize opportunities throughout the business park through continued investment and asset management initiatives.

Patrizia, the current asset manager at Birchwood Park, will continue in its role.
