NYSCRF commits $225m to real estate fund

The $181.7 billion New York State Common Retirement Fund has committed $225 million to KSL Capital Partners IV, according to recent meeting documents.

The value-added fund is targeting $2.25 billion in equity for high-end hotel and leisure properties, including resorts, golf courses and high-end athletic clubs.

The fund has received investments from the $3.8 billion Houston Firefighters’ Relief and Retirement Fund, the $14.5 billion New Mexico Public Employees’ Retirement Association and the $19.9 billion San Francisco Employees’
