NVELOP develops second German logistics site for Ivanhoé Cambridge

Ivanhoé Cambridge has plans for a second German logistics project development in partnership with the logistics real estate specialist NVELOP.

The site totals 48,000 square meters (517,000 square feet) in Velten, northwest of Berlin. The location is less than three minutes from the A111 motorway junction 2a and offers strategic access to the metropolitan areas of Tegel, Charlottenburg and Berlin-Mitte in less than 30 minutes.

Ivanhoé Cambridge plans to develop around 25,000 square meters (269,000 square feet) of modern and sustainable logistics space on the site. Construction work is expected to start in mid-2023 and be completed in early 2024.

The transaction follows Ivanhoé Cambridge's partnership with NVELOP in September 2022, which aims to invest in German logistics real estate opportunities ranging from project developments to core plus properties.
