Nuveen Real Estate has appointed Nicolas Biganzoli to the role of managing director, head of investments, in France.
Based in Paris, Biganzoli will be responsible for overseeing investment activity across the risk spectrum for Nuveen’s real estate platform across all sectors in France.
Biganzoli joins Nuveen with more than 20 years of real estate experience. He started his career at Deutsche Bank in real estate investment banking in London, before moving to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA), where he worked on more than €2.5 billion ($2.7 billion) of acquisitions in all asset classes across continental Europe. He moved back to France in late 2019 to set up a living platform through the redevelopment of derelict industrial sites and obsolete office assets.
