Nuveen buys office property in Amsterdam

by Andrea Zander

HighBrook Investors has sold the office building at Prinses Irenestraat 59 in Amsterdam to Nuveen Real Estate’s Cityhold Office Partnership (CHOP).

The sales price was not disclosed.

The building was built in the early 1970s, with a total surface area of approximately 14,000 square meters (150,000 square feet).

CHOP is a pan-European office venture managed by Nuveen Real Estate on behalf of four investors, including TIAA and Sweden’s AP1 and AP2. Launched in 2015, the long-term partnership has strong growth ambitions and is currently targeting both core and value-add office investments in first-tier cities across Europe, including Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Madrid, Milan and London.
