Northern California city to be next hot life sciences market

Steven Golubchik, vice chairman and head of capital markets at Newmark Group, says the small city of Emeryville, in the San Francisco East Bay area, is nine months to 12 months away from being as hot of a life sciences office leasing market as Kendall Square in East Cambridge, in greater Boston, thanks to Emeryville’s location between Berkeley and Oakland, and its proximity to San Francisco, UC Berkeley and Silicon Valley.
