New York State Teachers' Retirement System (NYSTRS) has approved a $300 million additional commitment to Prima Capital Advisors’ existing separately managed account, according to a recent meeting document.
The system has contracted with Prima Capital Advisors as a manager in its U.S. CMBS and private real estate-debt strategy since Oct. 1, 2003, with $1.04 billion under management as of June 31 in a separate account.
The account consists of $518 million in CMBS and $520 million in private real estate debt.
