New York State Common Retirement Fund places $200m in Artemis Real Estate Partners Fund IV

The New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has committed $200 million to Artemis Real Estate Partners Fund IV, managed by Artemis Real Estate Partners, IREI has learned.

In December 2022, the vehicle had secured more than $1.5 billion of equity commitments, according to a filing with the SEC.

Artemis makes equity and debt investments in real estate across the United States, with a focus on multifamily, industrial, office, retail, hospitality, senior housing and medical office. Artemis specializes in joint-venture partnerships and direct investments.

Artemis Fund IV will target value-add investments in property types such as apartments, office, industrial, healthcare, self-storage, hotels and retail.
