NYSCRF buys medical office portfolio from Heitman for $73m

The New York State Common Retirement Fund (NYSCRF) has acquired a portfolio of five medical office buildings from Heitman Capital Management Separate Account for $73 million.

The portfolio of five medical office buildings in the MSAs of Reading and Lancaster, Penn.; New Haven, Conn.; Dallas and Atlanta totals 179,659 rentable square feet.

NYSCRF invests in real estate opportunity funds, affordable housing, mortgages and joint ventures with a property-specific mandate.
