The New Mexico State Investment Council has approved a commitment of $100 million to Jadian Real Estate Fund II and a commitment of $150 million to WCP NewCold III, as well as a re-up commitment of $300 million to Carlyle Realty Partners X.
Jadian Real Estate Fund II is managed by Jadian Capital and is seeking to raise $600 million to invest in less institutionalized niche property segments, including in industrial outdoor storage, commercial self-storage, land-lease communities (such as manufactured home sites) and hanger real estate (aircraft parking/fixed base operations).
WCP NewCold III is a fund investing in the operating company NewCold Holdings and indirectly in its underlying owned and operated cold-storage properties in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
Managed by Westport Capital Partners, WCP NewCold III is seeking to raise $2 billion and will own an interest in NewCold Holdings to recapitalize NewCold’s existing portfolio of 14 assets devel
