New England Investment Partners pays $23m for office building in Connecticut

SL Green Realty Corp. has sold the 1010 Washington Blvd., a class A office building totaling 148,000 square feet in downtown Stamford, Conn.

The buyer was New England Investment Partners. The sales price was $23 million.

1010 Washington Blvd. is strategically positioned in Stamford’s central business district just minutes from the Stamford Town Center and within walking distance of more than 450,000 square feet of retail and entertainment amenities. It is an impressive, well-located building, with a strong and prestigious tenant base. Additionally, the property is close to major highways, including the Connecticut Turnpike/Interstate 95 and U.S. Route 1, and is within walking distance of the Stamford Train Station for a short 45-minute commute into Manhattan. Downtown Stamford continues to go through a revitalization with significant development, improvements and expansions.

1010 Washington Blvd. comprises two interconnected buildings, an 11-story Tower Building featuring parking on floors one through five and a three-story Plaza Building. The property offers state-of-the-art amenities and services, including a private shuttle service to the Stamford Train Station, fitness center, private storage, on-site security and ample covered parking.
