Alice Connaughton has joined Morrison & Foerster’s Washington, D.C., office as a partner in the REIT Group.
Connaughton, who brings more than 18 years of experience advising public companies, REITs and other entities in various capital markets transactions, will also play a key role in the firm’s Corporate Finance | Capital Markets Group. She joins Morrison & Foerster from Greenberg Traurig.
Connaughton concentrates her practice on advising public companies — primarily public, nontraded REITs — in connection with capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance matters. She represents several of the leading sponsors of nontraded REITs and has helped clients raise more than $20 billion in public offerings. She also has extensive experience representing nontraded REITs with respect to SEC, FINRA and state Blue Sky regulatory matters, and she frequently advises the management, boards and committees of her clients in all aspects of thei
