The Helena-based Montana Board of Investments is seeking a new chief investment officer to direct the investment activity and administration of roughly $20 billion in state assets, which include pension, trust and local government funds.
According to an RFP document published by the board, the new hire will replace Joe Cullen, who vacated the position several months ago. The position reports to Dan Villa, executive director of the board.
According to the RFP document, the position requires 10 years of senior investment experience, knowledge of Montana’s investment strategies and experience managing complex investment portfolios, among other qualifications.
