International real estate advisory firm Montague Property is gearing up to launch a £100 million ($122 million) real estate fund on June 1.
The fund, known as Monta Capital, will provide equity and bridge financing for the development of both existing and new real estate projects.
The capital will be used to help buyers acquire high-end real estate sites that have already been developed; to help develop new international projects; and to help developers in markets that lack a bridging loans infrastructure, such as Spain, Portugal and France.
The fund will focus on high-yield investments offering returns within a three- to five-year time horizon.
M Capital will also serve as the investment arm of Montague Property, and the firm’s founder Thomas Balashev will serve as CEO of M Capital.
