Michigan Strategic Fund approves $2.7b in projects

The Michigan Strategic Fund has approved a wide range of projects, including a Transformational Brownfield Plan for the Bedrock Management Services project in Detroit, a new Amazon fulfillment center near Grand Rapids, and funds to support community revitalization projects in southeast and west Michigan, the Michigan Economic Development Corp.

The projects, which support continued economic progress in the state, are expected to generate a total capital investment of $2.67 billion and create or retain 9,372 jobs in Michigan.
