Abacus Capital Group has recruited Summit Real Estate Group’s former executive member Michael Tussie. He will serve as senior director of investor relations and portfolio management and be responsible for executing the firm’s capital raising strategy. He will be based in the head office in New York City.
Abacus Capital Group is a middle-market multifamily platform having effectuated almost $3 billion in investments since its formation in 2004 across a number of transactions and funds.
Prior to joining Abacus Capital Group, Tussie was a managing director with Summit Real Estate Group, an industrial operator, where he was responsible for the build out of the institutional platform and led capital markets and fund raising efforts. He was also a member of the investment committee.
