M&G Real Estate has acquired a residential scheme valued in excess of €250 million ($284 million) in Greater Copenhagen on behalf of the €5.2 billion ($5.9 billion) M&G European Property Fund.
The sellers were Urban Partners, AG Gruppen and Nordea Pension Ejendomme.
Banehaverne comprises of 667 homes across six buildings. It offers a mix of apartments and townhouses designed to appeal to a broad tenant base, with amenities appealing to both families and young professionals. Located between Glostrup and Brøndby, the scheme benefits from strong transport links into central Copenhagen and easy access to surrounding green space. It has been designed with a focus on energy efficiency, including solar panels and EV chargers, and is DGNB Gold certified with an EPC A rating.
