Meadow Partners has held a final close of Meadow Real Estate Fund II after raising $320 million. Jeffrey Kaplan, a managing partner with Meadow Partners, has confirmed the closure.
The opportunistic fund, which will make investments exclusively in London and New York City, launched in July 2012 with a fundraising goal of $400 million. To date, the fund has close to 50 percent of its capital committed to investments. Fund investors include the North Carolina Retirement Systems, which committed $60 million, and the University of Texas Investment Management Co., which committed $75 million to the fund. All investors in the fund are U.S. pension funds or university endowments.
