Epta Development Corp. and Maynards Group of Cos. have formed M&E Realty Partners, a real estate investment platform targeting value-added properties across the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
The platform has completed its first acquisition, an approximately 835,000-square-foot industrial facility on 82 acres at 1000 Old Brunerstown Road in Shelbyville, Ky., within the greater Louisville market. Financial terms were not disclosed.
M&E will focus on investment opportunities arising from industrial transformation, corporate restructuring, market dislocation and capital recycling, particularly properties that may be underutilized or require repositioning.
The platform combines Epta Development’s real estate investment, development and asset-management capabilities with Maynards’ industrial network and asset-recovery expertise.
