McNair Interests, a private investment and management company founded by Houston Texans owner Bob McNair, has revealed plans to redevelop a six-acre site in Houston’s Uptown District that is currently vacant. The sales price was not disclosed; however, the Houston Business Journal reported that the project is estimated to cost upwards of $500 million to complete.
The 1.2 million-square-foot luxury mixed-use development, located at 3200 Post Oak Blvd., will feature a multifamily tower, Rosewood Hotel with luxury residences, a class A office tower, retailers, green space and structured parking.
Architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill is the lead architect of the project. Construction is expected to begin in 2019, with completion slated for 2023.
