The $460 million Massachusetts Water Resource Authority Employees’ Retirement System rehired New England Pension Consultants as its investment consultant at its Feb. 23 board meeting, according to spokesman Sean Navin.

The contract with NEPC is for two years, with the option to extend for an additional five years.

Boston-based NEPC serves more than 300 retainer clients with total assets in excess of $900 billion, according to the firm’s website. Its clients include corporate, public and Taft-Hartley pension funds; endowments and foundations; insurance companies; and private wealth investment programs.
