MAPFRE and Swiss Life adds French asset to its portfolio

A co-investment vehicle established in 2018 by MAPFRE and Swiss Life Asset Managers France has added a new building to its portfolio.

The 7,200-square-meter (185,139-square-foot) property, located at 73 Boulevard Haussmann in Paris, consists mainly of offices with retail units at ground level and is leased almost entirely to 16 high-quality tenants.

Managed by Swiss Life Asset Managers France, the co-investment vehicle was set up to invest in prime offices in Paris. The companies said this last acquisition pushes the vehicle to its €500 million ($546 million) milestone.

MAPFRE, a global insurance company and the largest Spanish multinational insurance group in the world, aims to build a portfolio of buildings holding sustainability certification.
