Mandarin Oriental, Athens to be developed in Greece

by Kali Persall

Plans have been unveiled for the Mandarin Oriental, Athens, a new hotel and luxury-branded residences to be developed on the coastal front of The Ellinikon, establishing its presence in the Greek capital.

According to current plans, the investment includes a 5-star hotel with 123 rooms and suites, along with 17 luxury-branded residences offering breathtaking views of the Saronic Gulf and direct access to the sea. The hotel will offer an array of dining options and leisure offerings and will feature indoor and outdoor event spaces for meetings and social gatherings. Additionally, The Spa at Mandarin Oriental will offer wellness therapies and beauty treatments, with a focus on locally inspired programs.

Mandarin Oriental, Athens will be Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s second property to launch in Greece, following Costa Navarino. BELT Riviera has signed an agreement with Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group for the management of the hotel, which is targeted to open in summer
