Madison promotes two to MD

Madison International Realty has promoted Matthias Cordier and Alex Lukesch to managing director.

Cordier has been with Madison for nearly eight years, first in Madison’s New York office and now based in Frankfurt. He has primary responsibility for the sourcing, underwriting and execution of Madison’s equity transactions, including all aspects of financial analysis, property due diligence and transaction structuring with a focus on Germany and Western Europe.

Prior to joining Madison in 2011, Cordier spent over four years with the European Commercial Real Estate Group of Deutsche Bank, where he worked on the underwriting, due diligence, structuring and closing of financings for commercial real estate transactions in Germany and Western Europe.

Lukesch has been with Madison for 11 years.  He was originally hired in Madison’s New York office in 2008 and transferred to head the Madison London office in 2013. He has primary responsibilities for the sourcing, underwriting and execution of Madison’s equity transactions, including all aspects of financial analysis, property due diligence and transaction structuring with a focus on the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Prior to joining Madison in 2008, Lukesch was a portfolio analyst at Lincoln Property Co., where he assisted in the underwriting analysis, due diligence and structuring of over $350 million of structured equity investments and acquisitions of office and retails assets throughout the United States.
