Macquarie Asset Management, on behalf of GLL Australien Fonds, has acquired a 50.1 percent equity interest in 60 Carrington St. in Sydney for approximately A$140 million ($109 million).
The approximately 14,600-square-meter (157,000-square-foot) prime office building is located within the redeveloped and revitalized Wynyard precinct in Sydney’s central business district. Close to key transport connections, the 16-story property occupies a prominent corner position overlooking Wynyard Park.
Florian Winkle, co-head of Macquarie Asset Management’s real estate team in Europe, said: “We are delighted to have secured this iconic building in the heart of Sydney on behalf of our German institutional clients.
