Los Angeles Employees commits $180m to an Angelo, Gordon real estate fund

The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) has committed $180 million to Angelo, Gordon Europe Realty Fund (AGERF) IV.

Managed by Angelo, Gordon & Co., AGERF IV is focused on investing in office, retail, residential, industrial, hotels, self-storage, student and senior housing in the United Kingdom, Western Europe and the Nordics.

LACERA has committed to other Angelo, Gordon & Co. funds in the past, including a $50 million commitment to AGERF II in 2018 and a $100 million commitment to AG Asia Realty Fund II in 2019, according to IREI.Q.

As of June 30, 2023, roughly 6.7 percent ($5.1 billion) of LACERA’s $76.14 billion portfolio was allocated toward real estate.
