London hotel sells for $229m

Italian real estate company Gruppo Statuto has agreed to purchase the Six Senses Hotel at The Whiteley, a luxury hotel in Bayswater, London, for an estimated sales price of £180 million ($229 million), one of London’s biggest property deals this year, according to media outlets.

The sellers of the 109-room hotel are Hong Kong builder C C Land Holdings Ltd. and investment firm MARK.
