Kristen Kocis, a former hire at Lazard Asset Management, has joined proptech venture capital firm MetaProp as institutional sales lead.
MetaProp said the appointment was made in anticipation of institutional growth. Kocis brings significant experience in investor relations and raising capital to the role. At MetaProp, she will assist with the development of overall investment relations strategy, developing investor leads and coordinating relationship management. She also will help track and analyze investor value-add.
Kocis previously worked at placement agent Cebile Capital, focusing on North American distribution. Prior to that, she spent more than four years at Lazard, focusing on institutional sales, marketing and client services for corporate clients, public pensions, family offices, endowments, foundations and RIAs.
