Lands Improvement, one of the United Kingdom’s leading strategic land development companies, has acquired the freehold interest in a 551-acre site at Dunton Hills, Essex, alongside an option agreement for a further 6.47 acres.
The acquired site has an adopted local plan allocation and resolution to grant planning permission from Brentwood Borough Council for a 3,700-home community with a gross development value (GDV) in excess of £480 million (€555.50 million/$647.34 million), secured by property investment and development company CEG.
Lands Improvement will add and realize value by assuming a master developer role, delivering infrastructure and selling serviced land to housebuilders and developers over a 12-year period.
