Landmark Real Estate Fund IX captures more than $1.4b of capital

Landmark Real Estate Fund IX, managed by Ares Secondaries, has secured more than $1.4 billion against its fundraising target of $3.5 billion, according to a recent filing with the SEC.

Landmark Real Estate Partners IX will make secondary investments in various types of real estate and real estate-related entities.

The Ares Secondaries Group has innovated within a range of alternative-asset classes, including real estate, private equity and infrastructure. As of Sept. 30, the firm had about $22.8 billion of assets under management.

The firm could not be reached for comment on its fundraising activity at the time of publication.
