The Los Angeles City Employees Retirement System (LACERS) has committed up to €43 million ($50.2 million) to EQT Exeter Europe Logistics Value Fund V, according to meeting materials from Aug. 12.
EQT Exeter Europe Logistics Value Fund V, a program of EQT Real Estate, is a closed-end, value-added fund with a fundraising goal of €2.5 billion ($2.9 billion). In May, The Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana committed €115 million ($129.1 million) to this fund. Exeter Europe Logistics Value Fund IV, its predecessor, raised €850 million ($990 million) more than its initial fundraising goal of €1.3 billion ($1.5 billion), with a total of 2.1 billion ($2.5 billion) in equity.
LACERS is a public pension fund with $24.1 billion in total assets under management, as of Dec. 31, 2024. As of then, it had a real estate allocation target of 7 percent with $1.3 billion i
