Korea Post has appointed IGIS Asset Management and Capstone Asset Management to manage a KRW 500 billion ($360 million) domestic real estate loan fund, according to Asia Asset Management.
The South Korean government postal agency announced the appointments Aug. 26 after launching a public tender for the mandate July 20.
At least half of the fund’s assets will be allocated to senior secured loans backed by office and logistics properties. The vehicle will have an eight-year maturity and a three-year investment period.
