KKR has formed a partnership with HiTone Capital to acquire a commercial development near the Shanghai’s historic Bund waterfront, according to Mingtiandi.
The KKR-Hitone Capital joint venture closed on its acquisition of the 10-year-old class B property at 399 Remin Road, two blocks inland from the historic Bund waterfront.
The partners plan to convert the six-story property into a 17,000-square-meter (183,000-square-foot) mixed-use development.
