KKR closes record-breaking $15b Asia Pacific fund

KKR has completed a final close of its $15 billion KKR Asian Fund IV, making it the largest private equity fund dedicated to investing in the Asia Pacific region.

The fund exceeded its target size to reach its hard cap and was backed by a diverse group of new and existing global investors, primarily those located in Asia Pacific.

KKR will be investing approximately $1.3 billion in capital, alongside fund investors through the firm and its employees’ commitments.
