KKR and Gaw Capital Partners are in talks for the potential JPY 100 billion ($658 million) sale of the Hyatt Regency Tokyo to Japan Hotel REIT, market sources confirmed to Mingtiandi.
The two investment firms bought the hotel in the Shinjuku area less than two years ago for $409.3 million from Odakyu Electric Railway. The 712-room hotel is undergoing a full renovation in phases.
