Kintyre secures planning for €300m Markisches Quartier scheme

Kintyre has received full planning permission for its Markisches Quartier project in Reinickendorf, Berlin — a mixed-use development totaling 80,000 square meters (861,113 square feet) of commercial and residential accommodation.

Kintyre’s regeneration project located in Berlin’s northwest is designed with future living at its core and aims to provide a seamlessly integrated “work, live, leisure” urban precinct.  The new Markisches Quartier will provide 360 residential properties, a 12,500-square-meter (134,549-square-foot) medical center, 10,000-square-meter (107,639-square-foot) office, a kindergarten, one of Europe’s largest market halls, retail shopping, and an 8,000-square-meter (tk-square-foot) urban rooftop garden for the enjoyment of the residents and occupiers. Total investment volume will be close to €300 million ($367 million)
