Keystone Property Group builds solar array in parking lot of office building

by Released

Keystone Property Group, a vertically integrated CRE development and investment company, has started construction on a 3,900-kilowatt Solar Array System in the parking lots of its 496,736-square-foot office property, APX, in Morris Township, N.J.

The project will be built and maintained by Brightcore Energy, an industry leader with a successful track record in building solar photovoltaic projects throughout the United States. In addition to reducing energy costs and strengthening Keystone's collective commitment to sustainability, the solar array project will include eight electric vehicle chargers, enhanced LED lighting systems and will shield parked cars from inclement weather.

The anticipated project completion date is December 2021.

The first phase of installation is currently under way and requires the removal of several trees. For each tree removed, Keystone will contribute to a Morris Township fund, ensuring a tree is replanted in its community.
