Keystone Group, Indy Eleven to break ground on $1b mixed-use project in Downtown Indianapolis

The United Soccer League Championship’s Indy Eleven and Keystone Group have unveiled plans for a neighborhood village development in downtown Indianapolis.

The development, anchored by a 20,000-seat stadium that will be home to the Indy Eleven professional soccer team, will have a groundbreaking on the 20 acres in May 2023. Other amenities include 205,000 square feet of office space, more than 600 apartments, 197,000 square feet of retail space, restaurants, public plazas, parking garages and a hotel. Other highlights to the development will include an indoor 4,000-seat music and entertainment venue utilizing a national operator similar to other successful concepts around the country, rooftop bars, riverfront activation, and walkability and connectivity to the Cultural Trail and all of downtown.

The stadium is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
