Kevin Maxwell has left Nuveen, a TIAA company, as its managing director of institutional advisory services.
Maxwell was responsible for marketing the organization’s global real asset products. Prior to joining the TIAA organization in 2007, Maxwell was a senior vice president at LaSalle Investment Management, responsible for marketing its institutional real estate products, and he held similar positions at J.P. Morgan and The O’Connor Group. Earlier in his career, he was a regional vice president of Prudential Mortgage Capital.
He is a member of The CFA Society New York. Maxwell also served on the editorial board of The Institutional Real Estate Letter and is the past chairman of the publication committee for the Pension Real Estate Association. He formerly served as chairman of the corporate governance committee of INREV.
Maxwell holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois and an MBA in finance from Northwestern University. He is a CPA and a CFA charter holder.
