Keppel consortium seeks $448m for Shanghai commercial complex

by Released

A consortium of investors linked to Singapore-based Keppel Ltd. is seeking to sell a commercial complex in Shanghai for approximately RMB 3 billion ($448 million), representing a 35 percent discount to its 2019 acquisition price, according to Mingtiandi.

The 800,835-square-foot International Bund Gateway, located in Shanghai’s Hongkou district, was acquired for RMB 4.6 billion ($686 million) in 2019 by Keppel Capital’s Alpha Asia Macro Trends Fund III, Keppel Land China and other co-investors.

The ownership consortium has appointed Savills as the sole agent to market the property, which includes two 18-story office towers and a retail podium. The buildings may be sold individually or as a portfolio.

The complex includes approximately 511,286 square feet of office space and 289,549 square feet of retail space. Office tenan
