K Wah International Holdings has plans to invest 10 billion yuan ($1.55 billion) in a proposed residential-commercial project in Nanjing, the capital of China’s Jiangsu province, reported South China Morning Post.
According to Eugene Tang Yue-chung, general manager for development and operations for Shanghai region at K Wah, the project in Nanjing would be developed in phases over seven to eight years and could yield a total gross floor area of 5.13 million square feet.
Nanjing is located 186 miles up the Yangtze River from the city of Shanghai.
