John Longo named head of property at Cbus

John Longo has been appointed as the new head of property at Cbus, one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds.

Longo left Australian Super, the largest Australian superannuation and pension fund, in January 2020 after more than four years. He spent the past few months as an investment executive for ISPT Property. Longo also was director of property at the Future Fund and co-head of real estate securities at Challenger.

Cbus said Longo’s appointment was among a series of new hires made to Cbus’ investment team. He joins Serge Allaire who was named head of private equity and James Crawford who was appointed head of equity portfolio construction.
