Joe Pagliari to hold first named clinical professorship at UChicago Booth School of Business

Joe Pagliari has been named the inaugural holder of the John Mazarakis and Chicago Atlantic Clinical Professorship at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. It is the first named clinical professorship in the School’s history.

With more than 40 years of industry experience, Pagliari has written papers on a variety of real estate topics, including on value-added and opportunistic real estate strategies, on public versus private real estate equities and on the NCREIF Property Index. Pagliari also served as the editor of the Handbook of Real Estate Portfolio Management, of which he co-authored several chapters.

Pagliari is a board member of the Real Estate Research Institute (RERI) and a former board member of the Real Estate Information Standards (REIS).

He is also a member of the American Real Estate Society (ARES), the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA), the Homer Hoyt Institute, the National Association of
