JLL has appointed Gianluca Romano as global head of underwriting and advisory in its global funds advisory team, based in London.
Romano will oversee the underwriting of mandates taken on by the global funds advisory team, and support the broader capital markets business, advising on funds, joint ventures and recapitalizations. He brings more than 25 years of investment management and consulting experience in both the United States and Europe to JLL, and joins the firm from StepStone Real Estate where he was a partner. Prior to StepStone, he spent four years at Courtland Partners Ltd, where he was a managing director and established the company’s European business.
